Look how fast I am growing...

I am growing up so fast. I have been sleeping so well for my mommy and daddy. Last night I slept from 10:00 to 7:00. Most nights I sleep from 9:00 to 4:30. My favorite things to do now are smile, coo and watch my big brother play...I think he is so cool and he always makes me smile. At my 6 week Dr visit I was 9.8 and 22 inches long....I am growing up to be a beautiful little girl.

Take me out to the ball game....

Sweet Pea enjoys the Frisco Rough Riders. He had a blast screaming and yelling for the team! Sweet Pea made lots of friends with the fans around us.

Fun time after Church

This week after church we went to a new park that Sweet Pea really seemed to enjoy. Their were lots of places to "hide" from mommy and daddy, climb and run. What a blast!

Cupcake enjoyed a nap at the park....must have been some good dreams!

Papa and Sweet Pea

What a beautiful day to sit outside and enjoy nature. Sweet Pea and Papa spending time together at the house. Sweet Pea enjoyed sitting with Papa looking at the fish and talking his ear off. Maybe next year they can start fishing together!

Lunch Date

Mommy and I have a hot lunch date with Daddy before I start school with Sweet Pea next week. I am very excited to make lots of new friends! Can we take Sherman with us?

"Ebra"

This weekend Sweet Pea so proudly told daddy his new word "Ebra." For those that don't speak toddler that would be "Zebra". He so proudly picked up his zoo animal zebra and walked all around yelling "Ebra!" Mommy missed all this fun so that evening she asked Sweet Pea to go get his zebra. It was sitting out in the middle of the floor so I thought that would be a fairly easy task with no distractions. When he walked over to his toy shelf instead I asked him again to go get zebra. Thinking he was ignoring me I asked him again. But still he refused to listen and continued to dig through the items on his toy shelf. I was more than shocked when he turned around and yelled "Ebra!" and this is what he so proudly gave me...................

We do work with the flash cards but only the ones I thought were "easy." I hadn't worked with this one....just thought it was to hard.........he continues to amaze us.

My First Day at Sunday School

Cupcake went to Sunday School for the first time today. She was so precious in her little tights, pink bow, and pink lacy dress. Her teachers all said she was just perfect. When it was time for her to leave everyone was sad to send her home, but looked forward to cuddling with her next week. It looks like she is falling in her big brothers footsteps as being the talk of the nursery.

Sweet Pea had a blast in Sunday School as usual. His teacher said he was a big help cleaning up the blocks and getting the other kids to help clean up. WOW! If only he did that at home. He sure enjoyed messing his room up during nap time last week after mommy worked hard to organized and clean it......and he didn't offer to help me clean it up. I guess the important thing is he is on his best behavior when mommy and daddy aren't around.

Going to Granma's

Sweet Pea and Cupcake were off to Granma's to spend some time while mommy and daddy had a nice evening out.

Nap Time?

Sweet Pea went down for his usual nap and when I went to check on him this is what I found......WOW! Please note that I had just cleaned his room spotless prior to his nap and now the pictures on the wall are crooked! I started to clean up before I took this picture. All his dresser drawers were open to create a latter and nothing was on his dresser! I even found footprints on the ceiling.......no not really but I would not have been surprised.

Nap time

Sherman and Cupcake take a little nap on the floor together.

Easter

The Easter bunny left lots of eggs filled with candy and money at Nanna and Pappa's. I had to work very hard for my Easter Eggs! I found some up on the windows, behind books, way up on bookshelves. I did the hard part, everyone else just reached the eggs for me. Next year I wouldn't be surprised if they were on the roof! I had lots of fun finding them! Thanks Easter Bunny!
I'll help Sweet Pea find eggs next year. I am happy just sitting here. Thanks Easter Bunny for my basket!

Wow Easter morning at home. Look what the Easter Bunny left for us! Sweet Pea had lots of fun finding Easter eggs in the game room! It must have been cold outside.

Sweet Pea and Cupcake

Sweet Pea likes to cuddle on the floor with Cupcake
Sweet Pea is always giving Cupcake lots of Kisses

Sweet Pea likes to feed Cupcake her bottle

Every morning Sweet Pea runs around the house looking for Cupcake and will not stop until he finds her!

Cupcake is born!

Pretty in Pink!
3/7/08
8lbs.

Mommy and daddy are very lucky...I am such a sweet baby. I did make them work hard the first few weeks trying to get me on a sleep schedule....but I think I understand the difference between day and night now.....so I guess I'll give them a break. As my reward I finally moved to my own room!

The Big Texas Chill...berrrrrr!

On March 6th we had a blast playing in the Texas snow! This is what mommy, daddy and sweet pea were doing the night before cupcake was born. Sweet pea had a blast playing in the snow, and having a snow ball fight with daddy. I think he knew that the snow was special in Texas. I just hope cupcake will get to see this much snow in Texas once in her life.

How to toss a snow ball....squeeze the snow tightly in your hand. Then...

Once it is in a tight ball take a step back to really give it some distance....

And this is how far my first snow ball went....not very far....straight up in the air.
