We did it! Sweet Pea is in his undies. No mistakes today. The real test will be leaving the house in them. We did this back when he was 20 months old but the Dr said he was to young...honestly we think he was ready but we stopped because that is what the Dr said....this time we are not looking back and calling it done. He really got into it when he saw baby pee in the potty. He is like his mommy and daddy- competitive. I thought this might be a good motivator. After some great advice from another mother we made a fun game of running to the potty and shouting "Pee pee potty!" or "Poo poo potty!" He loves to run and shout so this worked out great. He was a little upset at nap time when I pulled the diaper out. Sweet Pea took one look and said, "NO! Pee Pee Potty!" and took off running. I had to explain it was only for naps and bed time that we would put on the diaper. He used the potty and seemed OK with that.

Our happy little Cupcake. She is starting to learn how to play the younger sibling card. When she does not think I am looking ( I have eyes in the back of my head now) if Sweet Pea brushes by her and she falls to her bottom she "fake cry" It is kind of funny to watch. Usually I can look at her and say, "Cupcake Sweet Pea just walked by you." She stops the "fake cry" and starts to smile or laugh. She has been so supportive of big brothers potty training. She helps mommy clap and cheer every time he uses the potty. It really has become 'The Event' in our home.
